February is National Dental Health Month, so our curriculum this month is focused on being healthy! As parents and caregivers, we do our best to raise healthy and fit children. Reading books together with our children is not only a great way to connect, but stories also help expose them to new ideas and positive habits. Below are some books about healthy habits.

Just Going to the Dentist

This picture book, about Little Critter going to the dentist, shows that the dentist isn’t so scary after all.

The Tooth Book

In Dr. Seuss’s hilarious ode to teeth, little ones will laugh out loud as they find out all the things teeth can do and how to take care of them so they last a lifetime!

Brush, Brush, Brush

Simple rhyming children's book about brushing your teeth featuring simple, rhythmic text to read aloud to toddlers and big bold artwork that make each book visually appealing.

Eat Your Veggies, Goldilocks

It's your favorite classic fairy tale, with a twist. The three bears play host to a very fussy eater. Goldilocks only likes things 'just so', and she hates eating vegetables! But the bears are determined to give her a healthy meal.

From Head to Toe

From Head to Toe introduces the basic body parts and simple body movements. A variety of familiar animals invite young children to copy their antics, and as they play, they will learn such important skills as careful listening, focusing attention, and following instructions.
