Ms. Sayge W.Program Director
My name is Sayge Wight and I am so excited to be the new Program Director for the Monroe center Appletree. I grew up in Rockford where I first started working with AppleTree in 2015. I fell in love with the infant room where I worked as an assistant teacher. I was also a floater and spent time in all of the classrooms at some point.
I just recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from Western Michigan University and returned to the Grand Rapids area like I had planned to. Working with the outstanding team at the Monroe center is the exact opportunity I had hoped for.
I have always loved and had a passion for working with children, and while taking courses in college it became clear that this was the perfect area of study for me! Along with caring for children, I also enjoy baking, listening to music, and spending time in the sun and with the people I love!
I feel extremely excited and blessed to again being part of the AppleTree family. I look forward to getting to know all of your amazing families!
