School Age Programs

Our school age programs offer year round care for children up to 12 years of age.  This year-round program - available on snow days and during winter, spring, and summer breaks - offers all day before- and after-school care filled with fun and educational activities.

 

Join Our After School Club

Your school-age child can have a safe and exciting place to go after school.  Our After School Club offers a snack time, outdoor play time, reading group, and a homework help club.  Children build friendships and character as they participate in this unique club.

For your added convenience, busing to and from local schools is also available.  During the school year, AppleTree provides safe transportation by qualified drivers to and from AppleTree.  Please contact a location near you for further transportation information.

Our Summer Explorers Camp offers enrollment for children 6 to 12 years of age.  As a Summer Explorer, your child will build lasting relationships, develop teamwork skills, and learn acceptance.  Our Summer Explorers teachers are energetic, outgoing, and eager to explore with your child!  All teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid to ensure children's safety.

Their days will be filled with fun outdoor and indoor activities, learning songs, creative crafts, water days to cool off in the heat, and plenty of exciting group games.  Throughout the day, we provide a well-balanced breakfast, lunch, and snack.

 

As part of Summer Explorers, your child will spend their summer exploring the outdoors and taking field trips to places all over the West Michigan area!  Our field trips are one of the most popular components of our program.  We will go on 2 to 3 field trips each week, visiting:

  • local museums
  • city and county parks
  • farms
  • science centers
  • and so much more!
