Rising Starz Fitness
AppleTree has partnered with Rising Starz to offer a quality fitness and nutrition program. Rising Starz Fitness is a mobile gymnastics and fitness program that comes into our centers on a weekly or monthly basis. This program emphasizes more than just forward rolls and cartwheels. Children will explore the entire realm of fitness... healthy eating, enough rest, and plenty of exercise. Rising Starz helps each child individually build self-confidence and a strong self-esteem so they will be successful in life. Our goal with this partnership is to promote healthy life-long habits. Rising Starz Fitness will help develop a desire for physical fitness and healthy eating. The enjoyment of movement will be nurtured and practices that will build strong, smart, healthy happy families will be promoted.

Wee Luv Music
The fun and interactive music program, Wee Luv Music, makes regular visits to our AppleTree schools and provides special time for music and movement activities that are engaging and fun for all. We explore musical instruments, sing, dance, and learn about rhythm and sound. Children gain a great deal from being involved with musical experiences. Children who grow up hearing music, singing songs, and moving to the beat are enjoying what experts call "a sensory rich environment." This simply means that they're exposed to a wide variety of tastes, smells, textures, colors, and sounds. Many researches believe this forges more pathways between the cells in the brain. Musical experiences are an important way to help create these pathways, also called neural connections. While listening to music is certainly key to creating them, it's when kids actively participate in music that they make the strongest connections.

Spanish Club
Our Spanish Club is a program that introduces the Spanish language to children by immersing them in the language while participating in the program. Children learn basic concepts and simple conversation skills while having fun and interacting with friends and teachers.
We are realizing more every day the importance of raising children that are bilingual and culturally aware. Research has shown that very young children are more capable of learning two different languages simultaneously. It is also recognized that learning a second language in early childhood boosts brain power and enhances cultural development.
