AppleTree Christian Learning Centers accepts children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. For the best experience for your child, we offer developmentally-appropriate classrooms.
As Cozy and Warm As Home
Creating a warm and enjoyable environment is key to making your child excited to learn. AppleTree offers a safe home-away-from-home environment where children can flourish and thrive. Our facilities décor includes earthtones and woodland themes to create a peaceful and natural feel. We strive to create a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe and loved.
Nurturing and Qualified Teachers
At AppleTree, your child will have nurturing, energetic, and caring teachers, including a primary teacher, who understands the transitions between infancy and toddlerhood, toddlerhood and preschool, and preschool and school-age. All AppleTree lead teachers are state qualified and have either an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.
Your child's teachers will regularly encourage independence while letting your child know there is someone they can depend on within reach. While our caregivers take care of more than one child, they make time for individual attention. They listen and offer feedback to your child so he or she knows they've been heard. With great affection and consistency, they help your child practice making choices, set reasonable expectations, make suggestions rather than commands, and suggest alternative activities when trouble is brewing. Our caregivers understand the importance of maintaining consistency with rules, providing choices, and positive reinforcement.
Consistent Communication
Daily Verbal Communication
Each morning and afternoon you will have the opportunity to speak directly with one of your child's teachers. Directors are available to assist you and answer any questions that you may have as well. We desire to develop partnerships with our enrolled families in order to provide highest level of care. Consistent communication is key to starting and building this partnership.
Applegrams
To keep you informed of your child's daily activities, we provide daily AppleGram reports for every child that attends all day. These documents provide information about your child's day from lessons and activities to diaper changes and what they ate for lunch. Our parents love these reports and enjoy using them to share in their child's daily explorations and discoveries.
