About Us

History

The Tubbs family opened the first Appletree center in 1998. Doug and Bridgett Tubbs felt that having their own child attend the center allowed them to continually monitor the curriculum and programs. This hands-on approach turned out to be highly advantageous and a definite plus in the eyes of parents. From then on, Doug and Bridgett decided any and all Appletree centers would be owner-operated. Now 15 strong, Appletree, the Tubbs family, and their philosophy has given rise to a family of centers.

Community Involvement

Being an active member of our communities is an important part of our philosophy. More than just a place for daycare, we get involved in community activities and periodically open our doors to our neighbors for an evening of camaraderie.
